Balayage, AirTouch, and lived-in colour
Bring images that show the brightness, tone, and contrast you like. Your artist can recommend a technique or combination of techniques to work toward that result.
Balayage
A freehand approach to placing colour or lightener. Placement can emphasize the face frame, mid-lengths, or ends to create dimension. Your artist chooses the application and processing approach for the result you want.
AirTouch
A highlighting approach that uses airflow during sectioning to separate shorter hairs before colour is applied. Discuss AirTouch with Tadas if you are interested in softly blended highlights.
Lived-in colour
A finish built around a softer root and blended dimension. Your plan may combine highlights, a root shadow, or a colour melt. For more depth in existing blonde, ask about reverse balayage or lowlights.

What to book, bring, and discuss
Bring a few reference photos and share your colour history, current routine, and how often you want to visit the salon.
For a direct service booking, review the pricing page and current booking menu. Select your preferred artist and check the exact service inclusions. Appointment time and price depend on the work selected; contact us if you are unsure which option to choose.
Colour correction, a significant change in brightness, or colour combined with extensions may need additional planning or more than one appointment. Your artist will discuss the approach before the service.
Between visits, follow the care plan for your colour and extensions, if applicable. Ask your artist when to return for a gloss, root work, a full refresh, or extension maintenance. Your schedule should reflect your hair and the result you want to maintain.

How much does balayage cost at Fluff in Denver?
Your price depends on the selected service, artist, hair length and density, colour history, and the work needed for your goal. View the current pricing and booking menu for service options. A $25 Hair Strategy Session is credited toward your hair service if you decide to proceed.
How long does balayage last before needing a touch-up?
Your refresh schedule depends on the placement, tone, starting colour, hair growth, and home routine. A softer root can make regrowth less obvious, while the tone may need attention sooner. Ask your artist which appointments to plan between full colour visits.
Is balayage less damaging than foil highlights?
The technique name alone does not determine the effect on your hair. Your starting condition, previous colour, formula, and amount of lightening all matter. Your colourist assesses your hair and may recommend a staged plan for a major change.
What types of balayage does Fluff offer?

Does Tadas offer extensions?

Can I get balayage on previously coloured or dark hair?
A consultation helps establish what is achievable from your starting colour. Tell your artist about past colour, lightening, and smoothing services. Depending on your hair and the desired brightness, your plan may involve more than one appointment.
Is a blowout included?
Check the exact service selected in the booking menu. Some appointments include a blowout or style and others do not. The salon can help confirm the right booking and what it includes.
