Founder & Master Colourist
The colourist behind Fluff.
Twenty years of editorial colour work, from Los Angeles sets to a chair on Wazee Street in LoDo Denver.
Brittany Chambers
Brittany spent over two decades in the beauty industry, starting on the editorial sets of MTV and E! Entertainment in Los Angeles before bringing that fashion-world precision home to Denver. Her work has been featured in fashion and trade publications, but the work she cares most about walks out of the salon on an ordinary Tuesday, looking like it was never done at all.
She founded Fluff Colour Salon because she wanted a salon where colour and highlights are treated as an art form, not a service. As master colourist and national educator for Alter Ego Italy, and formerly an educator for Wella and Schwarzkopf, Brittany personally sets the standard that every artist on the Fluff team trains to.
Her chair is where the salon’s hardest work lands: colour corrections other salons pass on, editorial colour for shoots and press, and the quiet, expensive-looking dimension Fluff is known for.
What she’s known for
Brittany’s specialties sit at the technical end of the colour menu, where formulation matters as much as placement.
- Editorial colour
Colour built for cameras and print, adapted for real life between shoots.
- Hand-painted balayage
The technique behind Fluff’s signature grow-out. See balayage in Denver.
- Precision highlights
Foil work with clean lines and believable brightness. See hair highlights.
- Advanced formulation & correction
Box dye, banding, and previous work, fixed properly. See colour correction.
- Luxury extensions
Hand-tied wefts colour-matched to hand-painted dimension. See hair extensions.
Trained to Brittany’s standard
Brittany keeps a deliberately small book these days, and her chair is reserved well in advance. The colourists she has trained personally, Tadas, Veronica, and Hannah, are welcoming new colour guests now at the salon on Wazee Street.
