Denver Beauty Hair and Color Trend Report
by Brittany Chambers
The biggest trend in beauty this summer is YOU… naturally, uniquely and authentically.
This summer instead of tapping into your inner unicorn, try tapping into your natural side and adding glimmers of sparkle to your “natural” hair color. Ask your Denver colorist to awaken your brown hair with some cappuccino inspired painted Balay-lights. This color service adds dimension to brown hair by using a technique called Balayage, adding a “natural” highlight to your hair creating movement and glamour. Finishing off this service, your Denver colorist and hairstylist will create that lust-worthy cappuccino tone by sealing your hair with a conditioning color glaze, leaving your hair full of rich dimension.
Feeling stuck in 2016? At your next visit to your Denver salon, during your consultation, have your colorist make your look modern and trendy by softening that ombre or high contrast root by sprinkling in some face-framing baby-lights and making that color melt. Your colorist achieves this softer look by brightening up your hair around your face using a technique called baby-lights, which is super fine highlights in a foil.
Instead of making a statement with bright fashion hair color, try incorporating hair accessories, which was the biggest hair and accessory trend we saw on the runway of NY fashion week for spring/summer 2018. We love Chloe and Isabel. Liven up that ponytail, bun or braid creating a trend-setting statement.
If you are a natural redhead like our favorite Denver redhead blogger, Laura @lauraelizzzzabeth, we suggest adding depth and shine from a salon quality conditioning color glaze. Our favorites are Alter Ego Passion Mask or Alter Ego Just color.
Regardless of what your beauty mood is, the natural authentic you is what’s trending.
